Monetizing a viral social site.

As a principal in the development of a community blog or social media package we are discovering the importance of feeding the community in the early stages is vital. The user to user or viral marketing is essential for continued growth. But the initial cost is not just a $ figure but a total resource commitment.

 

We are currently perusing the development of a local newspaper and real estate accounts.  We feel there is a market for monetizing existing content and the prospect for strong user growth.

Ron Gagliardi

 

Ron Gagliardi has been a professional videographer for over twenty years. Ron was an art teacher with 30 years of teaching experience. He attended SCSU and holds BS & MS degrees in Art Education with a 6th year equivalent. He has shared his unique brand of humor-laced art all around CT at libraries, park and recreation departments, museums, colleges and at Kids On Campus, Artsplace, and the Barker Cartoon Museum in Cheshire. He was the public educator for the New England Carousel Museum in Bristol and the author of Images of America: Cheshire (Arcadia Publishing Company).

 

Jeffery Ward

 

Jeff is responsible for coordinating assets network wide and for the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan and marketing budget.

 

Jeff coordinates development programs, and facility advertising with all appropriate media for all daily activities and special events. Creates and implements a comprehensive marketing campaign for departments and programs. Conducts market research in the form of surveys, focus groups, and market meetings for the development of marketing strategies, new service programs and customer service evaluation. Coordinates the design, layout, printing, and distribution of season program brochures.
